At Dominican, your digital portfolio helps you tell your story – your way.
A digital portfolio is your personal website where you collect your coursework, projects, and experiences over time. It’s a place to reflect on your growth – academically, personally and professionally – and to share your best work with professors, advisors, internship sites and future employers.
Your portfolio features learning, reflections, milestone assignments, creative or professional projects, and your academic or career goals. It also gives you space to showcase your signature work – the standout projects and experiences demonstrating your skills and potential. Every portfolio is flexible, customizable and completely portable.
You might already use TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, or other social media platforms, but a digital portfolio brings everything together. It’s the one place where your personal, academic, and professional story connect. Digital Portfolios are free if using a Google Site, a Canva account, or other platform of your choice – and, yes, you can take it with you when you graduate.
Getting started is easy and we are here to help.

Working with my peer mentor was so helpful in understanding the purpose of my digital portfolio. I was inspired by her highlighted global experience and overall design.”

When you create a digital portfolio, you can gain a competitive edge in your job search or pursuit of an advanced degree by showcasing both your curricular and co-curricular achievements. Better still, digital portfolios provide a space for critical self-reflection and synthesis — which means you can better understand what you learned and the journey you took to get there.
Throughout your time at Dominican, you will develop a digital portfolio and receive regular feedback because we believe all students deserve a supported experience that will build a strong foundation for life after college.
